Day 10 Arrival at DELHI

Feb  10 DELHI – AGRA :

After breakfast, Drive to Agra (which was the capital of Mughal Empire for a long time) Start your sightseeing tour of Agra by visiting the Agra Fort, which was built by three Mughal emperors. Akbar started the construction but died before the fort was complete. His son Jehangir continued the construction of the fort, later son of 

Jehangir-Shah Jahan-added new structures to the massive fort. After visiting Agra fort, we head to visit the most beautiful monument of India, the Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1631-52, as a tomb and memorial to his belovedwife Mumtaz Mahal.Next proceed to Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, built by Empress Noor Jehan in memory of her father; and shopping markets of Agra. Overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.

 

 

 

 

Feb 15 : AGRA– RANTHAMBORE:                                             

Morning drive to Ranthambore. On arrival check in at a Resort, After some rest we will take you for Afternoon safari, Evening free for leisure, overnite and dinner at Resort.    

 

Feb 16: RANTHAMBORE :

Morning after breakfast drive into the national park, to explore the rich  Flora and Fauna of the Ranthambore National Park. Dinner and overnite at Resort. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Feb 13 RATHAMBORE – JAIPUR: After breakfast, leave for Jaipur, visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. This city was built by Emperor Akbar but had to be abandoned soon due to scarcity of water. Some of its highlights are Sheikh Chi's Tomb, Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal and Jodha Bai's Palace. Check in at the hotel at Jaipur on arrival. Jaipur is also known as the Pink City because all its building are in pink color. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

 

Feb 14 JAIPUR : After breakfast we proceed to visit the Amber Fort, located 11kilometers away from Jaipur. En-route, visit the Hawa Mahal. Amber was the ancient capital of 

Kachawaha dynasty before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. Ride an elephant(Optional) to reach the gates of the fort.The other highlights of the sightseeing tour of the day are City Palace with Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Deo Temple and the City Palace Museum; the observatory known as Jantar Mantar with masonry astronomical instruments; and Hawa Mahal 

known as 'Palace of Winds' with its honeycomb façade. In the evening we drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit Laxmi Narayan Mandir- a Hindu temple built in white marble. Spend the evening at leisure or go for shopping in the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

 

Feb 15 : JAIPUR – DELHI: Morning drive to Ranthambore. On arrival check in at a Resort, After some rest we will take you for Afternoon safari, Eveningfree for leisure, overnite and dinner at Resort

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Feb 16 DELHI : In the morning, go on a sightseeing tour of Delhi after breakfast. The highlights of the first half of the tour are Raj Ghat, Mahatama Gandhi's memorial; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; Red Fort; busy and narrow winding streets of old Chandani Chowk bazaar and its delicacies, all of which are situated in Old Delhi. The second half of the tour concentrates on New Delhi and has Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, Rajpath, India Gate, Parliament House, President's Residence and shopping at Connaught Place and Palika Bazaar as its highlight. Feb 17 RANTHAMBORE -JAIPUR-MADURAI (flight)

 

MADURAI: Situated on the banks of Vaigai River & is the second largest city in Tamil Nadu. It is more than 2500 years old and is an important cultural and commercial centre. Madurai, once the seat of Tamil learning and still the place where Tamil language is spoken in its purest form is an ancient cifty planned in the shape of a lotus. Rest of the day free for Independent activity. Overnight at Hotel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Feb 18: MADURAI - THEKKADY (150 kms - 3 hrs):

Feb 18 - 20  THEKKADY: Thekkady activities depend on weather condition such as jungle trekking with accompanied guide ,viewing cruise, elephant safari, visit to the Spice Plantation,Kathakali,Kalaripayattu

 

 

 

 

 

 

Feb 21: THEKKADY  - MUNNAR (120 km -4hrs) :

 

Feb 21- 23 MUNNAR: After an early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for fascinating journey to Munnar and enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the Cardamom Hills and green carpet of the Tea plantation and root.


On arrival check in at Hotel / Resort. Spend the rest of the day leisure trekking around the estate visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr,. Overnight stay in Munnar.

 

 

 

 

Feb 24 : MUNNAR – KUMARAKOM (4 Hrs/150 KM)

Early morning drive down to Kumarakom. Upon arrival at Kumarakom, check-in at House boat.

 

KUMARAKOM :Set in the backdrop of Vembanad Lake, Kumarakom is the deemed tourism destination of Kerala known for the houseboat tours. Right in the middle of Vembanad lake lies the Kumarakom Bird  Sanctuary. It is the retreat for bird watcher as they might have the glimpse of Siberian Crane.

Feb 25 – 26 MARARI BEACH:

After breakfast transfer to Marari Beach. Marari Beach is an endless vista of sand and surf, but it is more.

An authentic experience of the world of Kerala's traditional fishing villages, and a recreation of an ancient, harmonious way of life. Marari beach is perfect for those people exploring the who feel like some time at the beach as well. This beach is quiet and undeveloped. The name Ma-rari is shortened from Mararikulam, a small and sleepy fisherman's village. .

Rest of the day and overnight at  marari  resort.

 

Feb 27 - 28  COCHIN: Sight seeing of back waters, fort Kochi, hill palace. | Visit Jew Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace at Mattancherry, St. Francis Church, Chinese fishing net etc. Evening spend the day as you wish to. There will be a car to take you around. Enjoy shopping at the spice mar-ket Driver will cover all the major destinations of Cochin.

The climate in Munnar is mild , so you go from Kochi to Munnar. We leave in the morning from Kochi to Munnar (135 km) and arrive there around noon. Let yourself be enchanted by Munnar. On the way to the hill station ( hill station ), you see breathtaking lakes, forests and vast tea plantations. You will also visit the Eravikulam National Park and determined to see the Nilgiri Tahr , a mountain goat which only occurs here .

 

 

Aug 09,10,11:Periyar ,Homestay

On 6 Day morning we take the bus from Munnar to Periyar . and arrive there around noon time . .
Let fazinieren of the most famous wildlife park in Kerala ! From the boat you can see wild animals. This boat trip will be at 7 am on Day business ..
